For filming at the Red Square or close to the Kremlin a special filming permit is required. We need at least 7-10 days for getting the papers done.

Kazan has a great stadium “Kazan Arena” that hosted multiple sports events: 6 games during the World Cup, the Universiade, the 2015 World Aquatics Championship and many more. For filming sports events in Kazan we can get the film permits from the football club Rubin, the basketball team Uniks, and from the ice hockey club AK-Bars.
Kazan is one of the most important Russian cities. Kazan is a great place for filming with a very interesting history and delicious food, one of the biggest Mosques in Europe is situated here. Local equipment rental is limited to some basic DSLR equipment + canon lenses. Most sound equipment can be found in Kazan as well as LED lights and KinoFlos. Anything that is more serious has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

Sochi is a world-famous place for sports events. Over the last few years this city, situated in the subtropical climate zone hosted the winter Olympics, 6 games during the World Cup and yearly hosts the Formula 1 Sochi Grand Prix.
Sports facilities where it’s possible to film in Sochi: A great Stadium “Fisht”, the Sochi autodrome built by Herman Tilke, a huge ski resort – Rosa Khutor, that has facilities for all the kinds of winter sports. You can film at the seaside and then drive up to the mountains. In Sochi the distance from the shore to the ski resort is just 20 minutes of driving!
Local professional camera and filming equipment rental doesn’t exist. Everything has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

Filming facilities in Ekaterinburg are relatively poor. Most sound equipment can be found in Yekaterinburg as well as LED lights and KinoFlos.
It’s possible to find some Sony cameras (PMW350, FS-7) but the choice is very limited and often they are booked for long periods.
In most cases the filming equipment has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

A good place for filming. No filming equipment rental or filming facilities in the city. Anything has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

The city has the only cableway in the world that is part of the city public transport system. A great place for filming and for spending some days.
