For filming at the Red Square or close to the Kremlin a special filming permit is required. We need at least 7-10 days for getting the papers done.
For filming downtown, a general city permit is required. Processing time – 3-5 days.

FILMING SPORTS IN SAINT PETERSBURG.

St Petersburg has the most modern arena in Russia. It hosted 7 games during the World Cup. The stadium has two names: “Zenit” or “Saint Petersburg Arena”. It belongs to FC Zenit, Saint Petersburg.

St Petersburg is the most beautiful city in Russia. Cathedrals, palaces, rivers, and canals. Everything that is needed for getting great visuals.

SPORTS EVENTS FILMING IN KAZAN

Kazan has a great stadium “Kazan Arena” that hosted multiple sports events: 6 games during the World Cup, the Universiade, the 2015 World Aquatics Championship and many more. For filming sports events in Kazan we can get the film permits from the football club Rubin, the basketball team Uniks, and from the ice hockey club AK-Bars.
Kazan is one of the most important Russian cities. Kazan is a great place for filming with a very interesting history and delicious food, one of the biggest Mosques in Europe is situated here.  Local equipment rental is limited to some basic DSLR equipment + canon lenses. Most sound equipment can be found in Kazan as well as LED lights and KinoFlos. Anything that is more serious has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

FILMING SPORTS IN SOCHI: Olympics, World Cup, Formula 1 Sochi Grand Prix.

Sochi is a world-famous place for sports events. Over the last few years this city, situated in the subtropical climate zone hosted the winter Olympics, 6 games during the World Cup and yearly hosts the Formula 1 Sochi Grand Prix.
Sports facilities where it’s possible to film in Sochi: A great Stadium “Fisht”, the Sochi autodrome built by Herman Tilke, a huge ski resort – Rosa Khutor, that has facilities for all the kinds of winter sports. You can film at the seaside and then drive up to the mountains. In Sochi the distance from the shore to the ski resort is just 20 minutes of driving!
Local professional camera and filming equipment rental doesn’t exist. Everything has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

FilmspbTV was in charge for the organization of several sports events in Russia. Renting a stadium or a box and building up the required decoration. For filming sports events in Ekaterinburg you need to get film permits from the local sports committee. We can help you in contacting fro filming purposes FC Ural.

Filming facilities in Ekaterinburg are relatively poor. Most sound equipment can be found in Yekaterinburg as well as LED lights and KinoFlos.
It’s possible to find some Sony cameras (PMW350, FS-7) but the choice is very limited and often they are booked for long periods.
In most cases the filming equipment has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

“Volgograd Arena” looks great. It hosted 4 games during the World Cup.

This city has the tallest monument in Europe. It’s world known as the place where the bloodiest battle of the World War II took place.
A good place for filming. No filming equipment rental or filming facilities in the city. Anything has to be brought from Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

“Stadium Nizhniy Novgorod” is really great for filming purposes. It hosted 6 games during the World Cup.

The city has the only cableway in the world that is part of the city public transport system. A great place for filming and for spending some days.
